When you buy a trailer, there is a chance that you get paid more for the transport. However you can turn at much higher speeds in ATS due to more stable trucks (wheel positions), while in ETS you would probably flip them. Even though they follow the same formula, they do play somewhat different to keep it fresh. So if you do enjoy driving trucks and have some spare dosh, go for it.
