From the handbook: "The oil change indicator lamp will come on and remain on if the engine oil needs to be changed outside of the regular service schedule. Have the engine oil changed as soon as possible.
I wouldn't bother removing or cleaning it on a Mk4 stage V unless there's change in engine fuel consumption or performance. Mine's done 145000km and continues to run fine, egr and all. Egr removal results in nitric acid in the air, formed from NOx and water. Y.

Ford Mondeo Duratorq TDCi 2.0litre - Engine stops intermittently. Can anyone help with this. The engine on my mondeo cuts out when driving intermittently. First happened about 18 months ago going up a hill, wouldn't restart so I called for help, Tried to start 10 minutes later while waiting and away it went.
I have 2007 2.0 tdci 140 Mondeo Ghia with 75000 miles on the clock whilst driving earlier in the day an engine malfunction warning came up I pulled over and had a look under the bonnet at the wiring connections on the sensors i could find all ok there so drove home there was no loss of power or anything untoward going on There's a whole host of potential problems that cause issues like this. The EGR system on the Euro 5 engine is different that the Euro 4 and the EGR on the Euro 5 Automatic (and methinks 2.2 manual) is different again.

Reconnect fuel lines: Reattach the fuel lines to the new fuel pressure regulator, using the quick disconnect tool. Make sure the connections are secure and leak-free. Verify installation: Reconnect the negative battery terminal and start your Ford Mondeo. Check for any fuel leaks around the fuel pressure regulator.
