The NoVR mod lets you enjoy the VR-free version of the game without a headset, using mouse and keyboard controls. The mod has some compromises, such as missing VR features and puzzles, but it's a great way to see the game's story and environments without VR. The only game I've seen look equally as good as Half-Life: Alyx is Resident Evil 7 on PSVR. But I don't know if RE7 is available for PC. They're currently working on VR version for RE8 and RE4. Hoping those will be on PC. It's as full a game as any other Half-Life But honest question. Why did you buy into VR so early on? All new tech has a slow start. Full VR games are certainly already a thing now, what with Boneworks, Asgards Wrath and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners being the most brought up ones.
